We provide you with a Gypsum plastering service which includes: Gypsum base coats, plaster boarding, dry-wall, plaster skins and plaster over existing Artex.

Our carpentry services range from simple new kitchen installations to more bespoke designs to meet our clients requirements. Standard installation of doors, skirtings, timber stud partitions, floor and ceiling joists, timber flooring and general shop fitting for commercial properties.

From installations of kitchens, bathrooms and utility rooms to general maintenance repairs, we can fix any plumbing emergencies you are experiencing. We also install disability/accessability equipment and facilities.

If you are extending your home, converting the garage or attic, all the new wiring will need to conform to the latest Building Regulations Part P: Electrical Safety. The existing installation will also need to be updated to safely carry the extra load, ensure it is earthed to current requirements, and confirm bonding is satisfactory. We provide a highly recommended service for Electrical Rewiring & Upgrading in Pembroke Dock and the County of Pembrokeshire.

What does the work involve?

A full rewire means the electrical wiring in every room of your home needs replacing. Light fittings, sockets and switches will be removed and replaced with new ones. In most rooms your decoration will be affected. Existing single sockets will be replaced with double sockets. A mains operated smoke detector and a burglar alarm (when requested) will be installed as part of the work and wiring will be concealed in the walls, wherever possible.

In some properties their construction may mean that the walls cannot be drilled. Therefore new wiring may need to be fitted in plastic trunking. If you have installed any electrical circuits of fittings with permission from your housing office, they will be tested and, if suitable, reconnected. This includes items such as electric showers, security lights, alarms, doorbells and electrical fittings. Any electrical circuits you have installed, where you have not requested permission, will also have to be tested. If these do not pass electrical safety tests, they may be disconnected.


Rewiring Questions

Prior to any works starting, one of our electricians will survey your property for the presence of materials that could be potentially harmful if disturbed. Having an electrical rewire is a big job, but our electricians will be there to assist you through the whole process and help with any special requirements you may have.

From start to finish, a rewire and all associated work will normally take up to 10 working days. If any other improvement works have been identified for your home, it will take longer than 10 days to complete all the work. We will agree a start date for the works with you.

Every effort will be made to minimise disruption. However, due to the nature of the works there may be a lot of dust and mess in your property. Our workers will need access to every socket and light switch in your home.

In addition, there may be damage to your plastering, which will be patched repaired. They will also need access to your loft and underneath upstairs floorboards (if applicable).

You will also be without power for a few hours during the work and this may affect your heating and hot water supply. However, you will always be left cooking facilities and power at the end of each working day.
